DRDO LRDE Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Recruitment 2026 (Advt. No. 03/2026/JRF)

Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), Bengaluru, invites applications from meritorious Indian citizens for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). Candidates selected will receive a monthly stipend of ₹37,000/- plus admissible HRA for an initial tenure of 2 years (extendable up to 4 years). Selection will be conducted via a Walk-in Interview on October 8, 2026.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech: Graduate degree in a professional course in first division in respective subject with a valid GATE score (2024, 2025, or 2026). ORM.E. / M.Tech: Post graduate degree in a professional course in first division both at Graduate and Post-Graduate level in respective subject. Equivalent Disciplines: Electronics Engg, Electronics & Communication Engg, Electronics & Telecommunication Engg, Electronics & Computer Engg, Electronics & Communication Technology, Electronics & Communication System Engg, Electronics & Electrical Communication Engg, or any qualifying degree mentioning "Electronics" as the main discipline. Age Limit (as on 01.09.2026): Maximum 28 years. Upper Age Relaxation: Relaxable for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Government of India rules. Nationality: Only Indian Nationals.

Government-issued Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar / Passport / PAN Card / Voter ID). NOC from current employer (if working in Govt / PSU / Autonomous bodies). Category / Caste certificate (if applicable).

Send willingness to attend the walk-in interview via email to hrd.lrde2010@gmail.com on or before September 25, 2026. Set the email subject line to: "Application for the post of JRF-ECE discipline". Fill out the application form given in the prescribed format and attach a recent color passport-size photo. Report directly to the venue for the Walk-in Interview on October 08, 2026 between 08:30 and 09:30 hrs.

Initial screening of applications and document verification starting at 09:00 hrs on the walk-in date. Written test (if deemed necessary based on applicant turnout). Personal Interview on the same day.
